Ate here on our anniversary weekend getaway. Barley and salt was an excellent place to go! Food was excellent, service too, very pleasant staff. Would highly recommend this spot. And just about a beer for everyone's taste. Thank you for an excellent meal!!!

My wife and I went to Barley and Salt tonight and had an incredible experience. We started with the loaded calamari (no cilantro), and it was easily some of the best calamari we’ve ever had, crispy, tender, and packed with flavor thanks to the sweet chili sauce and aioli. Perfect start.
For dinner, I had the open-faced chicken piccata, and wow, the chicken was perfectly breaded, the lemon caper sauce was rich and balanced, and the mashed potatoes and focaccia brought it all together. My wife ordered the lamb gyro tacos, and she couldn’t stop raving about them. The lamb was tender and full of flavor, and the cucumber tzatziki and pickled onions were spot on.
On top of the great food, our server was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made the experience even better.
Highly recommend Barley and Salt, we’ll definitely be back!

It was super busy but we were sat down in about 15 minutes. Awesome craft beer selection and the food was top notch.
This place is incredible. The food is fantastic and the beer just makes it better. If you have never had food tell a story in your mouth. Go here.

The best!! We tried several local restaurants and none can compare! The bartender's are the best and look at the ice crystals on the martini!! Awesome 😎 The salmon was fabulous and the chicken picccata was fantastic!
As of writing this, my wife and I just left Barley and Salt and are sitting in our hotel room. Her and I have spent that last week traveling through New England states for our honeymoon, and we both agree, this is, by far, the most amazing food we found all week. And, yes, we had a Portland lobster dinner. Personally, I will go as far as to say that this is some of the finest food that I have ever had the pleasure of eating at a restaurant. I know that may sound very overzealous, but is 100% true. I have eaten all over the US at countless independent restaurants, and this place takes the cake for me. I cannot believe how good the food, service, and atmosphere was for a restaurant tucked away off the road on the edge of an outlet mall. If I had any authority to do so, this place would warrant a Michelin star.
